Join us at the Nomen Nescio store for the opening of Kerrostumia (Layers), an exhibition by Finnish designer Iina Kettunen.

Working at the intersection of design and art, Kettunen explores the relationship between materials, objects and the world around us. Her background in textile and accessory design brings a sensitivity to material, detail and proportion.

In Kerrostumia, chainsaw-carved pine sculptures reveal the material’s natural character, the traditions of woodcarving and the layers of time embedded in wood. Set within the Nomen Nescio gallery, the sculptures enter into a dialogue with the space and its architecture.
