Ecovero™️ replaces bamboo at Nomen Nescio
Viscose materials are usually breathable, anti-static and soft on skin. They are strong as well as relatively light. Colours are repeated intensively and last well on them. But viscose materials can be made of many types of cellulose in many different ways. So far the production of regular viscose has demanded a lot of chemicals and water and therefore been a rather heavy burden for the environment.
New Ecovero™️ viscose fibre production process has a more efficient usage rate of water and cleaning of it before returning it to the environment. It has lower CO2 emissions compared to generic viscose and a use of material from certified and renewable wood sources is intended. Ecovero is certified with EU Ecolabel and a better solution to regular viscose so far.
